Coloring ideas

Alternate muted blue, ochre and charcoal from the model; keep each character a single clear color so it remains easy to read. The included colored example is one possible palette. Use colored pencils or fine-tip markers for the small shapes, and keep the intentional white gaps open where they help the design read clearly. Children and adults can enjoy coloring the page, and a fresh print lets you try another combination.

Choose a favorite motif as inspiration, or use its outline for a temporary tattoo design. You can also take the design to a professional tattoo artist as the basis for a permanent tattoo. Before a permanent piece, agree on its final size, line spacing and any adjustments with your artist. Coloring and tattoo use are separate ways to enjoy these designs.
