Color Palette Library
Find a palette worth keeping
Explore the same Qolorio palette families used by the Color Palette Generator, resized here to 2–20 colors for Color Studio workflows.
Need larger palettes for extended workflows?
Qolorio Color palettes generator uses the same families with up to 256 colors.
What is the Color Palette Library?
A good palette is a starting point, not a finish line.
The Qolorio Color Palette Library brings together palette families from Qolorio Originals, Qolorio Curated and Qolorio Specials.
Browse creative directions, practical design palettes and functional color systems. Every family gives you somewhere to start – then you can resize it, change direction or take it into Studio and make it your own.
Find something good. Change what you need.
Search by category, mood or style
Use search when you already have something in mind, or combine Category, Mood and Style filters when you want to explore.
The current Library groups palettes into broad areas such as design and digital work, art and illustration, games, nature, places, materials, lifestyle, film and aesthetics, science, occasions and color essentials.
You can also search for a feeling, place, material, era, subject or use case. Try something simple like calm, retro, dashboard, beach, film or city.
You do not need to know the palette name. A direction is enough.
Keep temporary favorites while you browse
See a palette you want to compare later?
Use the heart to add it to your temporary favorites. Choose Show favorites only when you want to see just the palettes you marked.
Favorites stay available during the current browser tab. Filter resets, Studio resets and page refreshes do not remove them, but they are not a permanent saved collection.
If a palette matters, copy it, export it or use it in Studio before you close the tab or clear this site’s browser data.
Favorite for now. Export it if it matters.
Choose how many colors you need
A palette family does not have to stay at one size.
Choose 2 to 20 colors and Qolorio adapts the family while keeping its character as much as possible.
Fewer colors create a tighter palette. More colors add intermediate steps and variation.
More colors do not automatically make a better palette. Choose the number your project actually needs.
Need something much larger? Qolorio’s Color Palette Generator uses the same palette families and can expand them up to 256 colors.
Take the palette further
Found a palette worth keeping?
Use Copy when you simply need the color values.
Use Export when you want a file you can take elsewhere.
Choose Use in Studio when you want to turn the palette into a working color system with semantic roles, realistic previews, contrast tests and production exports.
The Library helps you find the colors. Studio helps you find their jobs.
